If you want to allow your visitors to book a seat in your classroom/venue you need to publish courses directory or a calendar on your website. JoomCourses offers several different views to publish. You can choose which one is the most suitable for your website.
Create a View
- Log into the administration in Joomla! and click the Menus > Main menu (or any other menu you have set up) > Add New Menu Item.
- Click Select next to Menu Item Type field. A modal windows appears.
- Click JoomCourses to see all the view available in JoomCourses
- Now simply choose one the views by clicking the link.
- The modal window closes and you can set up your menu item
View types
Calendar view
will display your course in an easy to navigate layout. You can choose in which mode the calendar should be displayed: month, week, day or all modes
The calendar shows either the course date or sessions if the sessions are defined within a course date. If no session is defined then the course date is being considered as all day event.
Sessions View
This is a handy view as it will display the courses in a paginated table. This could be an alternative to calendar view. The difference is it shows only those course instances which have at least one session assigned.
Courses View
It displays list or grid view of courses. It shows the course details when you click the course title.
Course View
This view displays the details of a selected course. You can see all the occurrences of the course on one page.
All the course details are being published here including the course category, tags assigned, experience level, group, location, description, reference number etc.
