Fixed

• The chat home page never offered to install the app — only an open chat room did. The chat is now installable from any chat page
• On sites with SEF URLs enabled, the app’s background service worker never registered, so the chat could not be installed as an app at all
• The app manifest always described the uploaded icon as a 192px and a 512px PNG, whatever the file really was. It now reports the icon’s true format and size, and icons are stored at 512 × 512
• Entering a wrong or missing PIN on a password-protected room showed an error page instead of a “Wrong PIN” message. The same fault hit reCAPTCHA failures on login and the contact form
• Direct Message restrictions could be worked around: the “Start Chat” button was not blocked, and refused messages still appeared as delivered. Restricted conversations can no longer be opened or sent to
• “Users Can Chat With: Room Moderators” matched nobody unless a member had been promoted by hand. It now also counts site Moderators who are members of the room
• Room Moderators could not be assigned, because the Moderator user type was hidden in the admin
• The Chat Bubble module ignored its own settings (room, position, guest access and the rest) and always used the global ones
• Reporting a message you had just sent silently did nothing — the report was never saved
• The gender dropdown defaulted to “Male” when no gender was set, so guests who never touched it were saved as male. It now defaults to “Other”
• Chat timestamps fell back to English in languages Moment ships only as regional variants (zh-CN, zh-TW, pt-BR)
• The database checker reported a missing column named “IF” that does not exist

• An “Install App” button in the chat, shown to members whose browser supports installing and hidden once the app is installed

• “PWA Default Chat Room” renamed to “App Launch Page”: it only sets the page the installed app opens on launch, and never limited which rooms are part of the app
• Profile birthday months, date labels and country names are now translatable instead of always showing in English

• Appearance → Image Settings: uploading a new image appeared to do nothing. Valid uploads now save and the preview refreshes immediately, and an unsupported or oversized file now shows a clear error instead of failing silently. WebP images are now accepted, and saving an image no longer resets unrelated Direct Message / user-list role settings

• Removed unused Appearance images (Register Page Image and Forget Password Page Image) and the obsolete in-component registration, password-reset and account-activation pages. Member sign-up, login and password reset are handled by Joomla’s own login & registration views; the home page “Create Account” button now links there

• Report dialog: the "Report reason" dropdown was empty with nothing to choose, because the default report reasons were never added to the database. The standard reasons (Spam, Hate Speech, etc.) are now seeded on a fresh install and added automatically when updating
• Many frontend strings could not be translated because they were hardcoded as English phrases (chat options such as Mute and Clear Chats, message previews, status messages, user badges, file uploader notes and the member/guest login). They now use proper language constants and can be translated like the rest of the interface
• File uploader (Uppy) now loads the correct language file, so its built-in text (Drop files here, browse files, Camera, Screencast, etc.) follows the site language
• Data tables (such as the Chat Room List) now display in the site language — search, pagination and "no data" messages included
• Fixed a mistyped language key on the "Forward message to" tab and added missing keys for the Embed Chat Room tab
• "Users can only chat with Admins/Moderators" is now a dedicated Direct Message restriction (global and per-room) that always applies, instead of being silently disabled when a room's user-list display mode was set to Show all / Online / Linked
