Manage Users in JoomSchool (Parents, Students and Teachers)

You can manage 3 type of users: students, teachers and parents, each user type has it's own interface to manage.

1 - Manage students

Students List

To manage students list go to : Backend  -> components -> JoomSchool -> Students.

In this view you can check student biodata quickly , download PDF, view recent year exams result , current year attendance report, parent link. You can also filter data by keyword, roll, class, section, division.

Add / edit student

To add a new student click on green button "Add student" and to edit an existing student you need to click on student name in list view or check it then click on "Edit" button in toolbar, then you can start adding student informations in each tab form.

  • Profile Tab: enter student informations like name, phone ...
  • Academic info Tab: you can select class, class roll number, division, transport, academic year and more.
  • Account Tab: this tab let you associate Joomla user to this student account or create a new account.
  • Photo tab: let you upload student picture.

2 - Manage teachers

Teachers List 

To manage students list go to : Backend  -> components -> JoomSchool -> Teachers.

In this view you can check teacher biodata quickly , download PDF, link to edit. You can also filter data by keyword, class, section, subject.

Add / edit teacher 

To add a new student click on green button "Add teacher" and to edit an existing teacher you need to click on teacher name in list view or check it then click on "Edit" button in toolbar, then you can start adding teacher informations in each tab form.

  • Profile Tab: enter teacher informations like name, phone ...
  • Academic info Tab: you can enter designation and select class, section and subject.
  • Account Tab: this tab let you associate Joomla user to this teacher account or create a new account.
  • Education tab: enter teacher degree informations.
  • Photo tab: let you upload teacher picture.

Send email to teachers

To send an email to a specified teachers, go to teachers list view -> check box each teacher you want -> then click on "Send Email" button

3 - Manage parents

Parents List

To manage parents list go to : Backend  -> components -> JoomSchool -> Parents.

In this view you can check student associated to parent and it's roll. You can also filter data by keyword.

Add / edit parent

To add a new student click on green button "Add parent" and to edit an existing teacher you need to click on teacher name in list view or check it then click on "Edit" button in toolbar, then you can start adding parent informations in each tab form.

  • Profile Tab: enter teacher informations like name, phone ...
  • Parent Student Tab: associate a student to this parent.
  • Account Tab: this tab let you associate Joomla user to this parent account or create a new account.
  • Photo tab: let you upload parent picture.
