JoomGrabber is the most powerful Joomla Extension to grab anything from the Internet (or even from your local server) to publish on your Joomla site automatically. It can auto post grabbed content to Joomla default Content or any 3rd-party extensions such as K2, ZOO, VirtueMart,.. Example automatically generate articles from RSS to Content in a Joomla! system.
JoomGrabber will post automatically on your Joomla! website through its pipes. It's a set and forget system, which means you only have to set up these pipes once, and then forget it as they take care of your auto content.
What is a pipe (pipeline)
The basic components for a standard JoomGrabber pipe are:
- An Engine to grab content from a source and break it to fields you can use to generate your auto content,
- Some Processors to manage and edit the content fields outputted by the Engine if it is needed,
- An Adapter to reform content outputted by both Engine and Processors, to generate auto content that can be accepted by Joomla! content extensions.

Engine Crawls external sources to grab content. For example: RSSReader will crawl RSS Feed to get content from RSS Feed. |

Processors Receives content from Engine and cook them up to make inputs for the Adapter. For example: making alias from content title, getting images from original site... Processors are only needed when there is a difference between the Engine outputs and the Adapter inputs. |

Adapter Strings inputs in the right format for Joomla! or 3rd-party Joomla! Extensions, such as: K2, VirtueMart, ZOO,etc.. and store them in the database. You will be the one to do the mapping between the fields returned by the Processor, and the fields that the Adapters receive. |
