Links engine get URLs list from engine settings and extract data of every URL, this engine is very useful if you have a specific URLs list and you want to extract data from it.
Engine settings:
- Links List: put here list of links that you want grab content from, every link should be in one line
- Specific Content: put here a CSS selector to extract a part of url content
Output fields of each fetched link:
- Link: link provided in links list parameter
- Title: title of link page
- Description: description of link page , extracted from meta description
- Specific content: html code of extracted content with CSS selector
- Content: full html code of link page
Example:
In this example we are going to grab full sport league tables from: https://www.sportinglife.com/ and insert it as Joomla article
Here extracted content from link was added as Joomla article quickly and easily
