By default, RSS Feed (which created by JoomRSS) will use Author from data source (for example, content author) for Feed Item's author. Some RSS Reader, such as Google Reader, will use that Author info to display underneath the Feed Item title.
Fortunately, JoomRSS offers several ways to handle that Author information.
From JoomRSS > select Feed Manager > click on a Feed to go to Feed Item configuration
In The Feed Parameters:
- The Green field is for using Global Author (which configured via JoomRSS > Settings page)
- The Yellow field is for overriding the Author field. Leave this field blank to use the default Author from data source. It's recommended to use your site-name here (for example: foobla) in the case you don't want to use the default Author.
