When a member reports a message, person, or room, the report lands on the Flagged Content screen. This guide shows you how to review and resolve those reports. Open it from Flagged Content in the sidebar.
The flagged content list
The list shows every report with its ID, type, reason, when it was flagged, and its status. Two filters sit above the list:
- Flagged Type — show all reports, or only flagged Chats, Users, or Rooms.
- Flagged Status — show all reports, or only those that are still Flagged or already Solved.
Reviewing a report
- Click a report in the list.
- A detail panel opens on the right showing:
- the reported item,
- the reason the member chose,
- any comment they added,
- who flagged it, and when.
- Use this information to decide what action to take.
Acting on a report
From the detail panel you can:
- Solve the report — mark it as handled. Its status changes to Solved and it drops out of the "Flagged" filter.
- Take action on the reported item itself — for example, edit or remove the offending room from Chat Rooms, or kick the reported member from a room (see Managing Members and Creating and Managing Chat Rooms).
Resolving a report only changes its status — it does not automatically remove the reported content. Deal with the content first (delete the message, kick the user, close the room), then mark the report Solved so your queue stays clean.
Where reports come from
Members create these reports themselves using the Report option in the chat — on a single message, a conversation, or a user. See the end-user guide Replying, Reacting, and Managing Messages for how they do it.
