Introduction
The calendar module can display the entire duration, start and/or due dates of projects, milestones and tasks in a classic month or week view.
Installation
Go to: Extensions > Module Manager and find the JoomProject Calendar module in the list and edit it.
On the edit screen, set the module state to "Published" and set the position to "jp-dashboard-top" (or anywhere else if you like). And finally, don't forget to assign the module to one or all menu items under "Menu Assignment".
Configuration Options
On the same screen, there are multiple configuration options that you can play with: Basic, Overview and Project View.
Basic Options
Mode
In dynamic mode, event dates related to the currently active project will be displayed. In manual mode, you can set the calendar to display events of a specific project (see the next config option). Remember that you can duplicate the module to display multiple calendars for different projects.
Project
Here you can select the project you want to display events of, when in manual mode.
Week Start
Here you can select whether the week starts on a Sunday or Monday.
Aspect Ratio
This option allows you to adjust the width to height ratio of the entire calendar. Larger numbers make smaller heights.
Shorten Titles
Allows you to automatically truncate the title of an event to x characters.
Overview Options
Filter Author
By default, all accessible project dates are displayed in the overview. Changing the setting to Yes, will show only projects you have created.
Filter Complete
