This guide covers how the chat looks and the extra content you can add to it: brand images, theme and colours, fonts, the chat page and homepage layout, the header and footer, policy pages, custom pages, navigation menus, radio stations, and advertisements.
Every screen below works the same way — change the settings and click Update (or Submit) to save.
Brand images
Open Appearance → Images. Here you upload the picture assets used across the chat:

| Dark / Light Theme Small Logo | The compact logo used in tight spaces. |
| Favicon | The small icon shown in the browser tab. |
| Home Page Banner / Image | The hero images on the chat homepage. |
| Login / Register / Forget Password Page Image | The side images on those pages. |
| Default Male / Female Avatar | The placeholder avatars for members with no photo. |
| OG Image | The preview image shown when the chat is shared on social media. |
| Chat Page Background (Boxed Layout) | The background behind the chat in boxed layout. |
Each upload field shows its recommended (optimum) image size.
Theme and colours
Open Appearance → Theme.

| Default Frontend Theme | The theme members see by default — Hybrid, Dark, Light, or Custom. |
| Custom colours | When the theme is Custom, colour pickers appear for the homepage, user list, chat container, and the sent/received message bubbles. |
| Dashboard Theme | Dark or Light for this admin area. |
Fonts
Open Appearance → Fonts and choose a Google Font Family for the chat. Click Update to apply it.
Chat page display options
Open Settings → Chat Settings. Alongside the content-type switches (covered in Media, File Uploads, and Cloud Storage), this screen controls how the chat page looks and behaves:

| Chat Page Notice Message / Style | A site-wide announcement banner and its colour. |
| Display Name Format | Show members by Full Name or Username. |
| Show Gender Icon / Country Flag / User Type | Whether these appear next to people in the user list. |
| Sent / Receive Chat Animation | Animation class names (from animate.style) for new messages. |
| Load Group Chats From | Where a room's history starts loading from. |
| Disable User List & Direct Messages, Disable Direct Messages Only, Disable Group Chats Only | Site-wide switches for hiding the user list or turning off private or group chat. |
| User List Type | Who appears in the user list — all, online only, authorised roles, or linked users. |
| Show Current User in List | Whether members see themselves in the user list. |
Homepage
Open Settings → Homepage.

| Chat Room Order | The default sort order of the room list. |

| Rooms List Realtime Online Count | Whether the room cards show a live online count. |
| Chat Room List Title / Description | The heading and intro text above the room list. |
Radio stations
Open Radio to manage the online radio stations members can listen to in rooms.
- Set Enable Radio to Yes.
- Click Add New Radio to add a station.
- Enter the station name, description, source (the stream URL), an image, and its status.
- Click Update to save.

Advertisements
Open Advertisements to set site-wide ad placements for the chat's left and right sidebars. For each side, choose an ad size and paste your ad code. Individual rooms can override these — see Creating and Managing Chat Rooms.
