Before delving into the actual features of JoomProject, there are few general concepts and mechanics you should know about.
Multiple extensions
The first thing to note about JoomProject is that it is not a single extension. It is made out of several extensions, distributed in a single package. Although we did our best to conceil this fact, in an effort to provide a streamlined interface and user experience, it will be important to remember this in some cases when using JoomProject - for example when setting up user group permissions.
Active Project
Most of what you can do in JoomProject is related to a particular project, we call active project or your workspace.
You can look at data - tasks, for example - either from a global perspective, which shows you all the data in every project you have access to, or filter it by your active project. This filter is located at the top of every page, and your selected project will stick for all pages you visit in JoomProject until changed or when you log out.
Frontend vs Backend
And the last thing to note here is that the Joomla backend (admin) interface of JoomProject is primarily designed for data and configuration management.
You should use the frontend for your regular work and interactions.
