Guests are temporary accounts created by visitors who chat without registering. The Guests screen lets you see and remove them. Open it from Users → Guests in the sidebar.
The guest list
The list shows every guest with their name, username, and when they were last seen. A search box (built into the table) lets you find a guest by name or username.
How guests are created and removed
- A guest account is created when a visitor enters the chat through the Guest tab on the sign-in screen. Guest mode must be switched on for this to be possible — see Registration and Guest Mode.
- Inactive guests are removed automatically after a period you set. This housekeeping runs as a scheduled task — see Scheduled Tasks, Maintenance, and Demo Mode.
Removing guests manually
- Tick the checkbox next to each guest you want to remove (or use Check All).
- Click Delete Selected.
You usually do not need to delete guests by hand — the scheduled cleanup task handles old guest accounts for you. Manual deletion is there for when you want to clear someone out immediately.
