The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open JoomInvoice. It gives you a quick snapshot of your invoicing activity so you can see how your business is doing at a glance.
To access it, go to Components > JoomInvoice. The dashboard loads by default.
KPI Cards
Four summary cards appear at the top of the dashboard. Each one covers the last 30 days and shows a trend arrow comparing to the previous 30-day period:
- Revenue - Total amount received from paid invoices. If you use multiple currencies, amounts are converted to your default currency.
- Invoices - Number of invoices created.
- Quotes - Number of quotes created.
- Contacts - Total number of contacts in your directory (no trend, just the overall count).
A green arrow pointing up means the value increased compared to the previous period. A red arrow pointing down means it decreased.
Revenue Trend Chart
A line chart showing your daily revenue over the last 30 days. Each point represents the total of paid invoices for that day. This helps you spot patterns and busy periods.
Invoice Status Breakdown
A chart showing how your invoices are distributed across statuses:
- Paid (green) - Fully paid invoices.
- Pending (yellow) - Awaiting payment.
- Past Due (red) - Payment deadline has passed.
- Partially Paid (yellow) - Some payments received, but not the full amount.
- Refunded (gray) - Fully refunded invoices.
- Partially Refunded (gray) - Partially refunded.
- Corrected (blue) - Invoices marked as corrected.
Recent Invoices
A table showing the 5 most recently created invoices, including their number, client name, total amount, status, and date. Click on any invoice to open it.
Recent Payments
A table showing the 5 most recent payments that have been received, with the related invoice number, payment amount, payment method, and date.
Top Customers
Shows your top 5 customers ranked by total paid revenue. For each customer, you can see their name, company, email, number of invoices, total revenue, and the date of their last invoice.
Monthly Comparison
A 6-month overview comparing invoice count and total revenue per month. Useful for tracking growth and seasonal trends.
Admin-Only Widgets
These widgets are only visible to administrators (users with full admin access):
- Product Info - Shows your JoomInvoice version and license details.
- Configuration - Quick link to the component settings.
