That said when configuring deal stages, here are a few facts that you will find helpful:

  1. To start, It's important to note that the percentage slider does matter when configuring a deal stage and when determining on the JoomCRM front-end whether or not a stage is considered to be an "active stage".
  2. For example, if the deal stage percent is configured as 0% this means that the stage will automatically be considered to be a lost deal stage. In other words, if on the JoomCRM front-end and if you mark a deal with a stage that's configured as 0% then JoomCRM will automatically consider the deal to be a lost deal. Therefore, it's no longer considered to be an active deal because the deal has been lost.
  3. Similarly, if the deal stage percent is configured as 100% then this means that the stage will automatically be considered to be a won deal stage. In other words, if on the JoomCRM front-end and if you mark a deal with a stage that's configured as 100% then JoomCRM will automatically consider the deal to be a won deal. Therefore, it's no longer considered to be an active deal because the deal has been won.
  4. It's also important to note that if the deal stage has been configured as 100% but the checkbox for "won stage" has not been checked during the deal stage configuration ... it doesn't matter in terms of the Deal (tab) active stage filter because within JoomCRM 100% will be considered to be a won stage. However, it's still recommended that if a deal stage is going to be a "won stage" to also configure / place a checkmark within the Deal Stage checkbox for "won stage".
  5. Alternatively, another possible scenario / configuration would be to configure a deal stage percent ranging from 1% up to 99% (any number that falls between 1 and 99). In this case, if the "won stage" checkbox is checked then even though the deal stage is not configured as 100%, JoomCRM will still consider it to be a "won" deal stage. And to reiterate what is said above, a deal that's configured as won is no longer considered to be an active deal.
  6. In summary, any deal stage that is configured as any value between 1% to 99% and which doesn't have the "won stage" checkbox checked (within the deal stage configuration) is considered to be an active stage in terms of the deal (tab) active stage filter. Also any deal that has been marked as "archived" on the deal page (which is a page that contains all the information about said deal including the edit deal modal) will also no longer be considered as an "active" deal unless said deal is "unarchived" once again on the deal page itself.
